My Dad and my passion for jewelry!
Once upon time in Calcutta, a boy was born to a British Dad and an Indian Mom. The boy, my dad, believed in trying new things and he did them in a different way. He knew what looks good and he owned it.
Papa was a rolling stone and his restless soul took him from India to Scandinavia and to places all over the world. Even though he was old, I knew his energy and mind where still that of a young man and he always pulled off wearing what he wanted.
I, Maria Phillips, founder and owner of Jonas Philippe, want to take the DNA of my dad, melt it and build it up again, putting some gemstones on it and jewelify the world.
My father, music and all the cultures of the world, makes me want to de-boreify life, starting with male jewelry. Enjoy // Maria
